Wet weather has continued to dominate coastal NSW into the first day of July 2013. June 2013 was incredibly wet and the latest wet weather event has led to a massive landslip in Sydney at the Harris Park Railway Station. The link below is to an article reporting on the slip.
The link below is to an article reporting on how Malcolm Turnbull has summed up the mood of a good many Australians concerning Alan Jones.
However, it is time not only Alan Jones was made aware of his offensive troll-like behaviour in the media, but also that others in the media faced up to the same thing. We all know who they are, these self-appointed bullies who like to savage others and can’t cop it when they receive it back. There is a Sydney newspaper full of these types and a number of radio stations have their share also. Enough is enough in my opinion.

Sydney has again welcomed the New Year with a fireworks spectacular. The following video is a brief look at the fireworks display.
There are plenty of things that people can’t throw away, or don’t want to throw away. I too have items of sentimental value that I would hate to part with. I also have things that I would hate to part with that are’t really of sentimental
value, but still are important to me for one reason or another.
The sentimental items though are not always items I have a lot of use for in practical terms – generally they mean a lot to me because of the people from whom they have come.
One such item that is very important to me is a ‘chip’ I received during a visit to a casino of all places, in Sydney, when I went there with Rebecca several years ago. Rebecca died almost three years ago, so this chip has special meaning to me as a reminder of both Rebecca and the trip to Sydney that we enjoyed together. I have made it into a keyring and it is always with me.
The weirdest food I have ever eaten was probably Orange Ice Cream that was served up in an orange. I had this at an Indian restaurant in Sydney many years ago.
The Orange Ice Cream was quite OK and I would have it again should I ever come across it.
