Back on the 20th November 2006 I went on a day trip with Bec to Gloucester Tops and the Gloucester River Falls. This is the best memory I have of my time spent with Rebecca (Rebecca died in June 2008) – my dearest friend.
Below is a file that contains a brief record of my trip with Rebecca and it is dedicated to her memory:
Back in 1998 I went on my first major holiday, travelling to Australia’s Top End, visiting such iconic places as Kakadu and Uluru. It was a fantastic trip and one I’d love to repeat again – or at least head north again and see some of the places I didn’t get to, as well as some of the places I saw back then again.
During my trip I kept a diary/journal in which I logged the places I visited, distances travelled, etc. This journal along with photos of the trip can be found on my web site.
I have decided to start a new Blog called ‘Kevin’s Walk on the Wild Side.’ This Blog will be all about my wilderness travels and adventures – not that there have been a lot of those lately. This Blog will be used to replace the ezine I used to put together for my wilderness travels site at http://www.kevinswilderness.com/
I think it will be far easier for me to update the Blog site than produce the newsletter. Of course whatever I Blog on that particular site I will also post to the Blog here as this is my primary Blog site.
It has been sometime since I worked on this site, but now I have begun reviewing the entire site. Every page will be reviewed and improved where necessary. Improvements will include updating the email address, improving the photo albums, etc.
I have also begun to add pages relating to wild places around the world, beginning with Africa. There are also new sections within the site dealing with wilderness news from around the world and a new guestbook format.
OK, so the website changes are progressing with the change of email address, servers, etc. I’ve messed up with the email address on the sites, so I’ll have to get back to that pretty soon – fix it up, etc.
